Taking pictures of buildings, especially at night, is just nice. You've got all the time you want, the subject doesn�t complain or move. And yes, it is kind of fun to freeze your hands at cold temperatures while making long-time exposures. Not least of all because you might encounter an animal, which is always a thrilling experience, though for lack of a second camera I haven�t managed to take pictures. But the memories are nice, too.

On the right an example: the annual "Festival of Lights" in Berlin, where I often wander around the city with some friends who are also interested in photograhpy.
